We facilitate transformational outdoor experiences focused on justice.
How often do we take the time to engage in personal work around racial and social justice? How often do we do this in outdoor spaces? At Walk It Out, we believe the personal is political, and in addition to fighting for an end to oppression, we also need to frequently examine our own position in the world mentally, emotionally, and physically. Our trips take place in nature to foster a unique space for community building, bonding and growth as we focus on our intersecting identities. We design our trips to promote honest discussion, accountability, healing and motivation for change.
As a space for change and radical resistance we prioritize the comfort and safety of those whose identities put them at risk of societal and personal violence.
